Music Publishing/Catalog Administration
In late 2014, Carlson Music Management opened a new division within the company that administers the song catalogs of various publishing companies and songwriters. Services include:
- Proper registration of songs in the necessary databases
- Licensing for all third-party requests
- Quotes for all synchronization and other arbitrary-cost uses
- Detailed quarterly-royalty statements for all of our clients
We utilize a "cloud" database system (MusicPubWorks) that allows our clients to access their own song information from anywhere in the world via any device. Clients are able to directly access their song catalog as well as any royalty activity generated. The system also provides a way to track pitches to labels and artists; organized all in one place.
We are songwriters ourselves so we understand the immense value that a song has and work hard to protect its interests for our clients. And, as a "boutique, specialized" firm, we can provide a close and personal touch when it comes to administering song catalogs.
